My name is James Dietsch - retired dramatic baritone enjoying a long international career performing on all the major opera houses and festivals of the world as a principal baritone in casts with great colleagues like Lucine Amara, Lando Bartolini, Carlo Bergonzi, Bianca Berini, Grace Bumbry, Franco Corelli, Jerome Hines, Christiaan Johansson, Luciano Pavarotti, Teresa Kubiak, Ermano Mauro, James McCracken, Leoni Mitchell, Anna Moffo, Roberta Peters, Jan Peerce, George Shirley, Diana Soviero, Linda Roark-Strummer, Renata Tebaldi, Richard Tucker, Astrid Varnay, Mara Zampieri, and many others. Before I became a professional opera singer I assisted the world famous Austrian Conductor Karl Böhm at the Vienna State Opera for one season intending to follow an international career as an opera & orchestral conductor, but singing and performing became my life and destiny instead.

 

In 2002 I founded my own artists managements: "Dietsch Artists International."

 

Dietsch Artists International represents some of the finest international opera stars and talents in today’s world of opera.  We work to build careers and broaden the possibilities to give artists worldwide representation.  At this moment we have six offices in this world market collaborating within the juridical frame of Dietsch International Associates Ltd. 

 

We work with young artists to give them direction and guidance for the beginning of their careers.  We have developed a mentorship program for artists of all ages to receive the help and direction to further their careers.

 

We represent conductors and stage directors. 

 

We are beginning to develop a roster of composers to foster new works and music.  We are representing opera impresarios and staff for opera companies and symphonies. 

 

I and my associates are currently working on establishing The American National Opera  Company, which will have it's base at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center just beside the world famous Metropolitan Opera.

 

Dietsch International Associates Ltd. is also the mother company of Dietsch Artists International and The American National Company, where The American National Opera Company currently is under establishment.
